Events

During the life-time of the SmartCoDe project (2010-2012) annual Expert Cooperation Workshops (ECW) will be organised. Goal of the workshops is:

to present the project’s results to the public and
to establish the project’s work in the surrounding technical environment

SmartCoDe therefore will invite reputable academic and industry speaker to supplement the ECWs. Information on tor the first ECW in Vienna in November 2010 can be gathered here.

In addition SmartCoDe plans to present the project’s goals and objectives at external events (please see overview page).

SmartCoDe is a 7th Framework Program (FP7) project funded by the European Commission. Its primary mission is to balance and reduce the energy consumption of small buildings and neighbourhoods and pave the way to energy-neutral / energy-positive local grids. The project, which commenced in January 2010, is a 3-year STREP project funded under the Programme "ICT-2009", in the area "ICT support to energy-positive buildings and neighbourhoods". It includes eight partners from 5 European countries.
